LIFE COACH AND ATTORNEY JOHN J. SCHALTER

After high school, John went to Michigan State University as an Evans Scholar.  Here he played Big Ten Football for the legendary coach Duffy Daugherty and was a University Rhodes Scholar Candidate.

Upon graduation he taught English and Reading and coached high school sports at St. Clemens High School. He then went on to Notre Dame Law School and pursued a Personal Injury Practice in Michigan for over 35 years, serving the needs of clients experiencing catastrophic injury and loss. During this time, he also developed career as a Hollywood screenwriter, having written over 30 screenplays, half of which have been either sold or optioned and two were development deals for Walt Disney Studios.

He has also worked as an artist, musician, play-write, poet and entrepreneur.  He now serves full time as an Attorney-Life Coach and sits as board president for the St. Clair Butterfly Foundation, and organization which offers deprived, young adult programs for the arts (music, painting, writing and yoga) in “at risk” communities in the Metro Detroit area.
